Source: E. coli expressed human MCP-2 Bacterial endotoxins ≤ 0.1 ng/μg It is monocyte chemoattractant protein 2 (MCP-2), also known as Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 8. The receptors are CCR1, CCR2, and CCR5. MCP proteins induce or activate migration of monocytes, activated T-cells, basophils, NK cells and immature dendritic cells. It is known that MCP-2 acts most strongly on CCR5 but weakly on CCR1 and 2. It is also known to regulate CCR5-dependent completion of HIV-1 together with MCP-3.
