Outline	This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. As bone growth factors, TGF (transforming growth factor), growth hormone, BMP (bone morphogenetic factor), somatomedin C (IGF?), etc. have been known. This product, BMP13 (CDMP-2, GDF6) is a cell growth/differentiation factor belonging to the TGFbeta super family and is expressed in hypertrophic cartilage in the center of ossified long bones. It presents homodimer structure. (TGFbeta super family: This is a group with a structure resembling TGFbeta and cell growth and differentiation factors such as BMP (bone morphogenic factor) and hormones belong to this group.) Appearance: Lyophilized with no stabilizer Endotoxin: less than 0.1 ng/μg (1 EU/μg) Solubility: Soluble in water Working Dilution: 0.1 ~ 1.0 mg/L in water containing BSA. (: 50 μg BSA/1 μg protein) Source: E. coli expressed human bone morphogenetic protein 13 Caution: It may be hard to recognize the content inside the vial due to the slight amount. Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Note: After reconstitution, aliquot the solution in an appropriate volume freeze at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycle after reconstitution.

This product, BMP13 (CDMP-2, GDF6) is a cell growth/differentiation factor belonging to the TGFbeta super family and is expressed in hypertrophic cartilage in the center of ossified long bones.
