Outline	This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human.BMP-7 is a growth factor belonging to the TGF-β superfamily. It is also called OP-1 (Osteogenic Protein-1; bone inducing factor-1) and has been studied for application to bone defect treatment along with specific osteoinductive carriers such as collagen. BMP-7 is widely expressed in tissues of developmental stage. The abnormality is observed in eyes, kidney, skeleton formation, etc in BMP-7 knockout mouse, and it causes fatal after birth. This product consists of 117 amino acids containing seven cysteine residues out of the BMP-7 precursor protein, forming a dimer.
