Outline	ENA-78 belongs to the "CXC" sub-family and shows a variety of activities involved in inflammatory reactions such as chemotaxis and activation of neutrophils.Endotoxin level: max. 0.1 ng/microgram One of the chemokines. Chemokines have been found as chemotactic factors to leukocyte cells such as neutrophil and eosinophil, and diversity of their productions and diversity of actions have been elucidated one after another. Recently, a humoral factor shown to exhibit chemotaxis has been found in lymphocytes (T and B cells) said to be immune-associated cells, drawing attention to further elaboration of the regulating mechanism of the immuno response network and triggering energetic research.
