Bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) are cytokines belonging to TGF-β family, and it is involved in various physical activities before and after birth. BMP4 is known for its influence mainly in the formation and development of bones and cartilages and relation to various bone diseases. This product is a homodimer of amino acid residues 303-408 of activated BMP-4 precursor protein.
