Overview / Applications

Outline Y-27632 is selective and potent ROCK inhibitor. Y-27632 plays various roles including contraction of vascular smooth muscle cells via ROCK signaling pathways. Furthermore, it suppresses the cell death of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and human induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (hiPSCs) at cell dispersion, and that it increases the survival rate of hESCs and hiPSCs during cryopreservation.
