Outline	This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. This product is a mitogen-activated protein kinase- (MAP kinase) specific inhibitor. It is used in separation and maintenance of embryonic stem cells (ES cells). MAP kinase is a serine/threonine kinase highly conserved in eukaryotes and a signaling molecule transmitting external stimuli. It has been shown to be involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, gene expression, and apoptosis. In recent years, MAPK signaling is noted as a promising target of anticancer therapy.
