Do not administer it to human.Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) belongs to the nerve growth factor (NGF) family and is a cytokine involved in the proliferation and survival of neurons. Possessing a dimeric structure, BDNF binds to low-affinity nerve growth factor receptors (LNGFR) on the cell surface. It has a particular affinity to the TrkB (gp145) protein. This product is a dimer made by non-covalent binding of subunits consisting of 119 amino acids.
