Column for HPLC
High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is mainly used for fractionation and analysis, and separation of the analyte is performed by the column.
Wakopak® series is a column for HPLC and UHPLC using a packing agent based on a fully porous high-purity silica gel. FUJIFILM Wako offers columns for various separation modes, including application-specific columns for analysis (pesticides, amino acids, aldehyde-ketones, surfactants, etc.) as well as polymer columns, optical isomer separation columns, SFC columns, and core-shell columns.

How to Select HPLC Columns
The separation of HPLC differs depending on the combination of column and mobile phase. There are various factors for selection of mobile phase such as type of solvent, mobile phase composition ratio and pH, and the corresponding column selection is necessary. In addition, column length, inside diameter and particle size are also important factors.
