Amino Acid Standard
Amino acids are organic compounds that constitute proteins, one of the energy-producing nutrients. The amino acid concentrations in the blood (plasma) are precisely controlled, and fluctuations in amino acids in biological fluids are used as indicators of body metabolism and disease. With the progress in the development of technology to screen the possibility of disease in the future, it is required to measure amino acids in blood samples and quantify amino acids more accurately.
FUJIFILM Wako was qualified for the first time in Japan as a "Amino acid mixture standard material producer" on the basis of the accreditation system of the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (ASNITE), and we sell first in Japan the Amino Acid Standard of the certified reference materials (CRM) with warranted metrological traceability*1. Amino Acids Mixture Standard Solutions (High Range) are prepared with the highly accurate liquid preparation technology cultivated in the development of the CRM amino acid standards. And raw materials are "internally certified products with assured amino acid as an impurity" or "reference material with assured traceability (TRM: Traceable Reference Material)". Therefore, you can use a standard solution with more accurate concentration than before.
*1: What is "metrological traceability"?
It is property of a measurement result whereby the result can be related to a reference through a documented unbroken chain of calibrations.
