APDS Method
Derivatization is a commonly used technique to augment chromatography analysis. Amino compounds react easily with 3-aminopyridyl-N-hydroxysuccinimidyl carbamate (APDS) under mild alkaline condition and enable to quick separation and quantification of optical isomers of amino acids by HPLC/MS. The APDS derivatives are monitored by the common fragment ion at m/z 121, and the analysis is completed in a few minutes. We have a lineup of the derivatization reagents, columns, buffers and amino acid standards for APDS amino acid analysis.
