Product Overview
RNA Extractor™ Kit for Purified EV is designed for extraction of total RNA, including microRNA, from extracellular vesicles (EV), including exosomes, using spin columns. High concentrations of RNA can be recovered with a small amount of elution buffer (20 μL), making it suitable for analyses such as next-generation sequencing (NGS) etc.
[Notice] This product is identical to the microRNA Extractor™ Kit for purified EVs. The product name was changed in October 2025.

miRNA Analysis of EVs by NGS
RNA was extracted from the EVs isolated using MagCapture™ Exosome Isolation Kit PS Ver.2 and analyzed by NGS.
[Result] More miRNAs were detected with Fujifilm Wako’s product compared to the conventional products of other companies.
Comparison of RNA yield with conventional products
EVs were isolated from umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells using the MagCapture™ Exosome Isolation Kit PS Ver.2, and RNA was extracted using three different kits. RNA was measured by QuantiFluor® RNA System (Promega Corporation) and RT-qPCR.
QuantiFluor® is a trademark or registered trademark of Promega Corporation.
[Result] Fujifilm Wako’s product showed higher RNA extraction efficiency than the conventional products of other companies.

| Outline | microRNA Extractor Kit for Purified EV is a kit for extraction of total RNA, including microRNA from purified EV derived from cell culture supernatant and brood (serum and plasma). This kit is optimized to extract RNA from purified EVs. There is no need for phenol and chloroform to use this kit.
