Overview / Applications
| Outline | This product destroys cells as a chaotropic agent to solublize insoluble proteins. It is also used for extracting RNA from tissues or cultured cells, because when mixed with 2-mercaptoethanol, it may have a denaturing action and cleave disulfide bonds, resulting in inactivation of RNase.It is a product in which ultraviolet absorption and content of metallic impurities are lowered as much as possible. As a reagent of the molecular biology grade, it has been confirmed for DNase and RNase activities. |
