Product Overview
Affinity tags are short polypeptides or proteins added to a target protein to facilitate its detection or purification.
Even in the absence of an epitope within the target protein itself, it can be expressed as a tag-fusion protein, allowing easy identification and isolation.
The 3×DYKDDDDK peptide is used to competitively elute 3×DYKDDDDK-tagged (MDYKDHDGDYKDHDIDYKDDDDK) or DYKDDDDK-tagged fusion proteins from immune complexes following immunoprecipitation with anti-3×DYKDDDDK or anti-DYKDDDDK tag antibodies.

Peptide Elution Efficiency
The amount of C-terminal DYKDDDDK-BAP (48.8 kDa) in each elution fraction was evaluated by CBB staining.

DYKDDDDK-BAP was detected in the first elution fraction when using either our anti-DYKDDDDK tag antibody beads or equivalent beads from Company A, demonstrating comparable elution performance.
