Y-27632 is a selective and potent ROCK inhibitor.
Y-27632 plays various roles including the contraction of vascular smooth muscle cells via ROCK signaling pathways.
Furthermore, it suppresses cell death of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and human induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (hiPSCs) at cell dispersion and increases the survival rate of hESCs and hiPSCs during cryopreservation.
