Mycotoxin of mycotoxins is a secondary metabolite produced by fungi and it is collective term for mycotoxins (noxious substances) injuring health of man or cattle. In general, a few hundreds of mycotoxins have been found and this product is one of trichothecene mycotoxin. Consumption of agricultural products with Fusarium fungi results in effects on the gastrointestinal system such as queasy, vomiting, diarrhea and bleeding as well as inhibition of immune functions. |
