| Outline | Decalcifying Solutions A and B remove calcium from hard tissues such as spines, skulls and teeth, leaving them soft and pliable. Decalcifying Solution A, an acidic solution, performs the decalcification rapidly but may not maintain the complete integrity of the tissue. Decalcifying Solution B, a neutral solution, decalcifies more slowly but maintains tissue integrity. |
