The GKPIPNPLLGLDST was consisted of 14 amino acids and has been used as the tag for detection and/or purification of recombinant protein.
Monoclonal anti GKPIPNPLLGLDST tag antibody was established by fusing mouse myeloma cells and spleen cells of mice immunized with synthetic GKPIPNPLLGLDST peptide which was coupled with keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) to mouse. This antibody, which was purified from mouse ascites was conjugated with horse radish peroxidase.
