Tableware, Cookware, and Packaging Materials Analysis​

Since tableware, cookware, and packaging materials come in direct contact with foods, this poses the risk that the chemical substances, etc. contained in these items may leach into food. It is thus necessary to ensure that such substances do not contaminate foods. In Japan, the Food Sanitation Act prohibits the marketing of apparatuses, containers, and packaging containing hazardous substances that may harm human health, and mandatory standards have been established for each apparatus, container, or packaging.​
