Application

Overview / Applications

Outline This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human.

Human IP-10 is an 8.5 kDa protein produced by several cell types during
the delayed type hypersensitivity response. IP-10 acts as a chemoattractant
towards monocytes, lymphocytes, and certain T cells.

Source: Human IP-10 cDNA expressed in E. coli
Appearance: Sterile filtered then the protein was lyophilized
with no additives.
Endotoxin level: max. 0.1 ng/mg
Reconstitution: The lyophilized human IP-10 is soluble
in water and most aqueous buffers. It should be reconstituted in
water to a concentration of 100 ng/mL.
This solution can be diluted into water or other buffered solutions.
Stability: The lyophilized powder, though stable at room
temperature, is best stored at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted IP-10
should be stored in working aliquots at -20 degrees C.
Biological Activity: The maximal chemotactic activity
of human IP-10 on human monocytes as assayed in a modified Boyden chamber
was achieved at 50 ng/mL.
