Source: E. coli expressed human fibroblast growth factor (acidic)

Formulation: Lyophilized from 5 mmol/L Sodium Phosphate, pH 8.0 + 100 mmol/L NaCl.

Biological Activity: The ED₅₀ is less than 10 ng/mL determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF receptors, corresponding to a specific
activity of > 1 x 10⁵ units/mg.

Reconstitution: Reconstitute in 5 mmol/L Sodium Phosphate, pH 8.0 to a concentration of < 0.5 mg/mL. Do not vortex.
This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.

Caution: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycle.
