Overview / Applications
Outline | This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. CKI-7 is one of the isoquinolines that selectively inhibits casein kinase 1 (CK1) by competing with ATP. CK1 is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates nuclear export, cell cycle, cell division, apoptosis, etc. Use of CKI-7 in the presence of SB431542 and Y-27632 is reported to induce human ES cells and iPS cells to differentiate into retinal progenitor cells in the serum-free and feeder-free conditions.
