Outline	This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. Found primarily in the skin of grapes, resveratrol is a polyphenol known for its antioxidant properties. Resveratrol selectively inhibits the cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) at ED50 = 15 µM, and also inhibits the hydroperoxygenase activity of COX-1 at ED50 = 3.7 µM. Histone deacetylase inhibitor/activator Histone deacetylases (HDACs) remove acetyl groups from histones, allowing them to wrap DNA more tightly. This leads to chromatin contraction and decreased transcription activity. [HDAC inhibitor] Outline: It is cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) inhibitor and also acts as human deacetylase SIRT1 (Class III) activator.
