Gnetin C Standards
The multiple benefits of polyphenols are clarified by research. Resveratrol, a type of polyphenol contained in grapes, has a known antioxidant effect compound. Ginetin C, extracted from Gnemon, is a resveratrol dimer, and has antibaterial and antioxidant properties, among others.
Gnetic C standard
Gnetin C is a dimer of trans-resveratrol, which is one of polyphenols found in Gnetum gnemon Linn that may decompose when exposed to fluorescent or natural light.
Assay: ≥ 97.0% (HPLC)
Appearance: White to yellowish brown, crystalline powder to powder or mass
Resveratrol (synthetic)
A Histone Deacetylase (HDAC) Activator
Histone deacetylase (HDAC) plays a central role in chromatin structure formation associated with the nuclear distribution of DNA. Resveratrol is a selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) (ED50= 15 μM). It inhibits hydroperoxygenase activities of COX-1 (ED50 = 3.7 μM).
Assay: ≥ 98.0% (HPLC)
Appearance : White to light brown crystal powder to powder or clusters
ε-Viniferin standard
ε-Viniferin is a resveratrol dimer found in young grapevines and shoots.
Assay: ≥98.0% (HPLC)
Appearance: White to grayish brown crystal powder to powder.
