Solvents

The roles of solvents in organic synthesis include dissolution of solid substrates to improve reactivity, alteration in the concentration of a substrate to facilitate reaction control, and solvation to increase the activity of reaction promotors. The desired quality of a solvent differs depending on the application and purpose; therefore, it is essential to select an appropriate solvent. For semiconductor applications, we recommend solvents that are Electronics Industry Grade and whose metal ions can be controlled.
FUJIFILM Wako deal with various types of dehydrated and deoxidized solvents for organic synthesis. For analytical applications, we handle each analytical-grade solvent containing minimum impurities, which would interfere with control and analysis of foreign matters.
