Condensation Reaction

Generally, dehydration condensation proceeds under acidic and high-temperature conditions. However, when constructing ester bonds or amide bonds under mild conditions, the use of condensing agents is effective. Good results are obtained when an appropriate condensing agent is selected depending on the purpose, intended use, and substrate; for example, when you want to simplify the post-treatment, suppress racemization, or react a sterically hindered site. FUJIFILM Wako handle various types of condensing agents, which can be used for a wide range of applications from peptide to general organic syntheses.
