Phoshponium type
In amidation and peptide synthesis, phosphonium type condensing agents are very often employed. PyBOP and PyAOP including HOBt and HOAt structure have high ability to suppress racemization during reactions. The reaction conversion is also relatively fast and purification is easy. Due to such advantages, it is a useful condensing agent suitable for solid phase synthesis.
