Amino Acids for SILAC
Stable isotope labeling using amino acids in cell culture (SILAC) can be used to identify and quantify proteins in complex protein samples for comparison of expression levels. Stable isotope-labeled amino acids are metabolically introduced into proteins during cell culture to prepare samples for protein identification and quantification by mass spectrometry. FUJIFILM Wako provides four 13C- or 15N-labeled basic amino acids.
