Outline	This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human. This product is a reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer agent (RAFT agent) used in RAFT polymerization. RAFT polymerization is a method of controlled/living radical polymerization, and effective to synthesize polymers whose molecular weight is distributed in a narrow range. Among controlled/living radical polymerization, RAFT polymerization has the advantage of being able to be applied to various radically polymerizing monomers, and halogen- and heavy metal-free system. This product is a trithiocarbonate RAFT agent having a terminal acetyl group.
