Overview / Applications
| Outline | The Wakosil-2 Series is made of high purity silica gel containing little metal. This is a filler for HPLC that shows excellent separability of basic substances and metal coordination compounds. RS type is a filler for reversed-phase partition chromatography, consisting of high purity silica gel (5 micrometers in average particle size and 120 angstroms in average pore size) with C18 (octadecyl group) introduced. After introduction of the functional group, maximum end cap treatment has been applied. It has high separability not only in the mobile phase with high organic solvent concentration but also in the mobile phase with high water percentage, and therefore is suitable for separation of compounds that have large polarity ranges. |
