Application

Overview / Applications

Outline Antibiotics are substances that inhibit microbial growth (including viruses) and growth of other cells. This product acts bactericidally on Gram-positive and negative bacteria, acid-fast bacilli, actinomycetes and Leptospira. This is an antibiotic that acts bactericidally with the mechanism of action inhibiting ribosomal protein synthesis, especially functional inhibition of mRNA. The antimicrobial effect is more potent under a weak basic condition than that under an acidic condition. It is effective against aerobic bacteria but ineffective against anaerobic bacteria.
Aminoglycoside AntibioticIt is produced by a number of actinomycetes such as Streptomyces griseus and acts bactericidally on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Medically, it is used for prevention of tuberculosis and postoperative infections. As a reagent, it is used for enzyme purification, gene engineering, sensitivity test, etc.
