Overview / Applications

Outline This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human.CTGF is a secreted protein of about 38 kDa produced from umbilical veins and vascular endothelial cells. Module 1-4 consists of four parts. Module 1 is called an IGF binding domain, Module 2 is called VWC domain, Module 3 is called TSP-1 domain, Module 4 is called CT domain, and different factors bind to each domain. It is known to be involved in proliferation and differentiation of chondrocytes and intercellular adhesion. This antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody which recognizes CTGF of Native form established by DNA immunization method and specifically recognizes Module 4 of CTGF.
[Antibody subclass] mouse IgG1
