Drying Agent

The control of moisture in solvents is important and greatly affects the results of experiments depending on the type of reaction. If the active species or substrates are specifically sensitive to water, adequate consideration must be given to the moisture contained in the solvents. FUJIFILM Wako introduce desiccants that can be readily used for pretreatment of such solvents. We offer synthetic zeolite and molecular sieves of various shapes such as powder, particulates, and beads, allowing you to select the one suitable for intended use.
We sell solvents, which have been dehydrated/deoxidized to guarantee low moisture content. If you desire to omit the dehydration treatment of an organic solvent, you can choose from these solvents. The solvents are available in volumes ranging from 100 mL to 3 L, and their grades and specifications are as follows;

Deoxidized and dehydrated solvents: Containing dissolved oxygen not more than 1 ppm and moisture not more than 0.001% (not more than 10 ppm)
Super-dehydrated solvents: Containing moisture not more than 0.001% (not more than 10 ppm)
Dehydrated solvents: Containing moisture not more than 0.003 to 0.005% (not more than 30 to 50 ppm)

For research use or further manufacturing use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
