Fluorescent Probe
Some fluorescent probes for detecting biomolecules have the following characteristics:
(1) have a high affinity for specific biomolecules;
(2) display increased fluorescence intensity when bound to specific biomolecules; and
(3) change their fluorescent properties through chemical reactions induced by specific biomolecules.
By making use of these characteristics, a fluorescent probe can specifically detect particular biomolecules and their activities.
FUJIFILM Wako has a wide lineup of fluorescent probes.
