ELISA Kits
ITEA offers ELISA kit for quantitative measurment of the major allergen of Mites, Japanese cedar pollen, and OVA (ovalbumin).You can choose from two types: an “all-in-one type” that includes a 96-well plate with capture antibody pre-coated, and a “Self-build type” that consists of a capture antibody, enzyme-labeled detection antibody, and standard solution.

ELISA Kits (Self-build type)
These consist of antibodies (primary antibody for pre-coating and secondary antibody for detection) and a standard solution necessary to measure the following allergens by sandwich ELISA.
The secondary antibodies can be selected from biotin-labeled or HRP-labeled.

- Is the extract (lyophilized product) dissolved in purified water?
- Yes, it becomes a clear solution when dissolved in purified water. However, it may become slightly cloudy. The dissolved solution is phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4).
- Why do you filter the extracts during the manufacturing process?
- The purpose of the filtration depends on the size of the pores in the filter used. The 0.8 µm and 0.45 µm filters are used to remove impurities (0.8 µm is used for pollen extracts, 0.45 µm is used for other extracts), and the 0.2 µm pores are used to filter out microorganisms and other minute particles such as sediment.
- Does the preservative in the extract have any effect on the ELISA measurement system?
- We add Proclin® 950 as a preservative, but it does not affect the enzymes used in normal ELISA kits.
- For products that do not specify allergen or total protein concentrations, is it possible to ask for this information?
- Yes, but there will be an additional charge for the measurement and a separate delivery date.
