Reagent for TSCA Test
In February 2021, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued Section 6 (h) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). TSCA aims to reduce the risk of harmful chemicals under the jurisdiction of EPA to human health or the environment.
Section 6 (h) of TSCA stipulates the rapid regulation of persistent, highly accumulative, and toxic substances (PBT chemicals). Specifically, the manufacture, processing and commercial distribution of products containing PBT chemicals are restricted.
Therefore, when exporting products to the United States, it is necessary to confirm that the regulated PBT chemicals are not contained.
FUJIFILM Wako provides analytical standards of PBT chemicals required for TSCA test.
