Nippon Grease's Standard Liquids for Calibrating Viscometers
It is essential to calibrate viscometers with using viscosity standards for accurate measurements of viscosity. Nippon Grease's SLCV(Standard Liquids for Calibrating Viscometers) assures the traceability to the National Measurement Standards.
It is the sole reference standards for Calibrating Viscometers which comply with JIS(Japanese Industrial Standards). Nippon Grease Co. has been a JCSS(Japan Calibration Service System) accredited laboratory (scope: viscosity) since 2012.

Under the JCSS calibration laboratory accreditation system, Nippon Grease's calibration laboratory is assessed and accredited as Accredited Calibration Laboratories to meet the requirements of the Measurement Law, relevant regulations, and ISO/IEC 17025.
IA Japan(International Accreditation Japan) and NITE(National Institute of Technology and Evaluation) play as the accreditation body of JCSS and conducts accreditation process with the system conforming to ISO/IEC 17011 and relevant international criteria.
The correct traceable measurements based on the standards between companies/countries provide assurance in regards to the characteristic values of the materials, and provides the guarantee of the product quality.

"JIS Z 8809 SLCV" should be handled properly accordingly to the following conditions:
- The containers shall be tightly closed and kept at room temperature avoiding heat and/or light.
- Once the standard liquids are used, it shall not be put back into the original container.
- Reusing the standard liquids must be avoided, and once the container is opened, the standard liquids should be used as soon as possible./li>
