Special Reagent for Hitachi High-Tech Science HM1000A
The "Thermal Desorption MS HM1000A" that is manufactured by Hitachi High-Tech Science Corporation is a device dedicated to the rapid screening test of phthalate esters, which are regulated by the RoHS 2 Directive.
We sell a mixture sample for obtaining the calibration curve for HM1000A, along with reagent for the calibration.
Product Description
Mixture of 8 types of Phthalate Esters
PVC resin contains 8 types of phthalic acids (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP, DNOP, DINP, DIDP, DnHP each 1,000 pppm) and is employed for obtaining the calibration curve.
Sample for Calibration
Of the 4 types of phthalate esters (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DIBP) that are regulated by the RoHS 2 Directive, DEHP contains DOTP and DnOTP as an impurity. DOTP and DnOTP are not controlled substances. Therefore, it is necessary to correct the amount of DOTP and DnOTP at the time of measurement.
DOTP and DnOTP produce fragment ions. Corrected measurement results are obtained by using the sample for calibration and subtracting the amount of DOTP and DnOTP from the assay results of DEHP.
Method of Use
- Cut the sample.
- Set the cut sample in the center of the sample pan and weigh it.*
*Adjust the weight of the sample to 0.16-0.24 mg (excluding the weight of the sample pan). - Place it in the sample tray of the equipment.
