Wakopak® Wakosil®-II 5C18 HG, RS, AR is a column packed with a completely spherical, porous, silica gel-based packing agent. To this column, "Wakopak® Certificate of Analysis", which describes the specification and measured values for "properties of unmodified silica gel" and "characteristics of packing agents after ODS modification" to support of analytical validation and assuring reproducibility within the specifications, is attached.

Features

Wakopak® Wakosil®-II 5C18 HG uses a packing agent obtained by converting highly pure silica gel to monomeric ODS and endcapping. It is suitable for the analysis of basic compounds / metal coordination compounds. Particularly, this product features a high number of theoretical plates. The column efficiency is as high as approximately 15,000 plates at a column size of 4.6 mm × 150 mm, and good results, which have not been obtained with conventional columns, are obtained.

Features

Wakopak® Wakosil®-II 5C18 AR uses a polymeric ODS packing agent. This packing agent is a very durable, and even when the mobile phase is acidic (pH1.4), ODS is not readily hydrolyzed. It is useful for the separation of peptides and structural isomers based on the characteristics of polymeric ODS. In addition, separation characteristics may differ from those of typical monomeric ODS silica gel and may show a very specific behavior.
