Using the immunochromatography method, this product is a simple and rapid test kit for bacteria that cause food poisoning. It makes it possible to conduct a quick and easy check. As a simple detection kit for Escherichia coli O26 and O111, it is the first of its kind in the world. Of course, it can also be used to test for Escherichia coli O157.

Application
When enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O157 is tested using the Japan official method, it will take 4 days until a result can be determined because various checks are performed starting from sample preparation. In contrast, it can be checked in just 2 days if the immunochromatographic method is used.*1 Furthermore, O111 can be checked at the same time using the sample prepared for the O157 test by just adding an O111 test strip (see the figure below). The NH Immunochromato series that makes it possible to conduct quick tests simply is suitable for screening tests. 。
*1 If the result of the immunochromatographic method is positive, a confirmatory test using a different method is required.
