Outline | The 6xHistidine polypeptide has been used as the tag for detection and/or purification of recombinant protein. Monoclonal anti 6xHistidine (6xHis) antibody was produced by hybridoma clone 28-75 fusing mouse myeloma cells P3U1 and lymphocytes of BALB/c mice immunized with synthetic HHHHHH peptides which was coupled with keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH). This antibody was purified from mouse ascites by using Protein A affinity chromatography. Concentration: Indicated on the label. Formulation: 50 mmol/L MOPS, 150 mmol/L sodium chloride, 0.1 w/v% sodium azide. Clone No.: 28-75 Subclass: IgG3, κ Specificity: Specific for N and C terminal of 6 X His tagged recombinant protein. Working Dilution: Applicable to immunoprecipitation and a best suited antibody for immunoprecipitation. |
