It is a substrate of drug metabolizing enzyme CYP3A4 and is used in drug metabolism test. When metabolized, testosterone is converted to 6β-hydroxytestosterone. In this product, impurities such as 6β-hydroxytestosterone (hydroxy form) overlapping the peak of metabolite at the time of drug metabolism experiment are removed by purification. |
