Overview / Applications
| Outline | The product enables simple and rapid isolation/detection of preservatives, bactericides, oxidation inhibitors, sweeteners and colorants in food. Red, green and blue phosphors corresponding to the three primary colors of light have been added. When irradiated with a wide range of UV light (250 to 400 nm), spots exhibit UV absorption peculiar to the substance and may be observed as colored spots such as red and blue spots. Fluorescence and separation tests have been performed. (Patent No. 678664) <Chromatography><TLC> Plaster starch is used for the sticking agent. |
