Solvents for Preparation of GC Samples
Gas chromatography (GC) is a measurement technique in which the sample to be measured is vaporized by heat, separated by a column, and detected. For this reason, solvents for GC measurement need to have minimal impurities when vaporized by heat. Fujifilm Wako offers a wide range of solvents for GC measurement that are guaranteed to have an impurity content below a specified level when concentrated.
300/500 Series
These solvents are guaranteed to have an impurity content in the solvent not higher than a specified level when the solvent is concentrated by a factor of 300 or 5,000 in a pesticide residue compatibility test.
These solvents are ideal for the pretreatment of samples before concentration or as a solvent to prepare samples for GC measurement.
for Dioxins Analysis
These solvents are guaranteed to have an impurity content in the solvent not higher than a specified level when the solvent is concentrated by a factor of 25, 10,000, or 100,000 in a dioxin analysis compatibility test. These solvents can be used for the pretreatment of samples before concentration or as a solvent to prepare samples for GC measurement. They are particularly suited to the analysis of dioxins using high-resolution GC/MS.
