Atmospheric Analysis
Air pollution is caused by various pollutants originating from human activity. These include ozone, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, nitrogen oxide, aldehydes, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, and hydrogen sulfide, as well as the particulate matter containing these substances These pollutants, including micro particles, are known to cause harm to living organisms, including humans.
Among them, aldehydes are specified as hazardous atmospheric pollutants. In Japan, regulations such as the Odor Control Law and the Air Pollution Control Law have established permissible concentrations and standard methods for measuring aldehydes in the atmosphere. In addition, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has established guideline values for indoor concentrations of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde.
Fujifilm Wako offers a wide range of columns for trapping aldehydes in the atmosphere, columns for HPLC analysis of aldehydes, mixed standard solutions of various aldehydes, and special eluents. You can count on use for all your aldehyde analysis needs.
