Analysis for Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonic Acid and its salts (LAS)

The Japanese Ministry of the Environment issued, "The Second Report on Additional Environmental Standards for Water Quality Designed for Protection of Aquatic Organisms," on January 10, 2013. This report mentioned that Alkyl Benzene Sulfonic Acid and its salts (LAS), as well as three additional substances, 4-t-octylphenol, aniline, and 2,4-dichlorophenol, should be monitored as wastewater control from the viewpoint of environmental protection.
