iMatrix-221 is a highly purified recombinant protein product of human laminin 221 E8 fragment that binds to integrin. This recombinant protein expressed by CHO-S cells. Laminin 221 and laminin 211 are abundant in the basement membrane of muscle tissues, including cardiac and skeletal muscles. Laminin 221 is thought to be involved in the differentiation and functional maintenance of muscle cells.
