Organic Scavengers
A scavenger is typically used to capture and remove specific components that remain after the completion of reaction. Most scavengers trap specific components by using functional groups that are fixed on a support. A method, in which a reaction mixture is passed through a column packed with scavengers, is also available.
FUJIFILM Wako handle a type of column that captures specific organic molecules by using cyclodextrin units.
