Amino Acid sequence analysis
Approximately 20% of the human body is made up of proteins and the higher-order protein structure is determined by the amino acid sequence, which in turn dictates their unique activities and functions. As such, knowing the sequence of amino acids that constitute a protein is critical for understanding the function of the protein. Shimadzu Corporation's PPSQ series is widely used as an amino acid sequencer analysis device (protein sequencer), and Fujifilm Wako offers a wide range of reagents dedicated to Shimadzu's instruments.
