Protein Expression Vectors

A Fc fusion vector is a vector with a variety of IgG-Fc regions containing the hinge sequence at the C-terminal of the multiple cloning site (MCS) and used to express a target recombinant protein by attaching the IgG-Fc region to the target. In addition, since a secretion signal is inserted at the N-terminal of the MCS, the chimeric Fc-fusion protein can be secreted into the culture supernatant.*1
Chimeric Fc-fusion proteins, which have a longer half-life than the original protein with the activity intact and are highly expressed in mammalian cells and easily purified by protein A or G, are mainly used for functional analysis of proteins and basic research of recombinant antibodies.

*1 Some proteins may not be secreted depending on their nature.
